Planning things well in advance is taking A R Murugadoss to great heights, one has to say. Perhaps, it is this quality of the filmmaker that made Hollywood giant 20th Century Fox to forge a partnership with him to produce movies.

Besides busy with directing ‘7am Arivu’, the Suriya starrer produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and supervising the production works of his joint venture with Fox, Murugadoss has planned his next directorial venture.

He would wield megaphone for a Bollywood film which would have Akshay Kumar in the lead. “After Ghajini, Aamir Khan wanted to work with me again. But I was specific that my next movie in Hindi should be with some other actor,” Murugadoss says.

Explaining the reason, he adds: “Despite all plus points, ‘Ghajini’ witnessed a grand opening only because of the presence of Aamir. So I should promise my skills with someone else. And I found Akshay as a right choice.”
